Scholarships

At HAMK we don’t offer any fully funded scholarship. HAMK’s scholarship programme is available for the nationals of non-EU and non-EEA countries who are studying for a degree in HAMK’s English-taught degree programmes. The nationals of non-EU and non-EEA countries are obliged to pay the annual tuition fee.

How the programme works?

HAMK grants scholarships based on Finnish language skills and study progress.

The scholarship programme awards students who gain at least the basic skills of Finnish language during their degree studies and simultaneously advance in their studies at HAMK.

The aim of HAMK’s scholarship programme is to support the future employment of international degree students in Finland by encouraging students to gain good level of Finnish language during their studies.

Finnish Language Test for Scholarship Programme

You can prove your Finnish language skills by taking a Finnish Language teat at HAMK or with a National Certificate of Language Proficiency (YKI certificate)
