Research infrastructures at HAMK

Our aim is to create a framework where applied research, education and innovation that transforms working life can meet and develop.

By research infrastructures, we mean the facilities, equipment, hardware, networks, databases, data and services that enable research and development, foster collaborative research and strengthen research and innovation capacities and competences.

Our research infrastructure policy implements HAMK’s strategy of top excellence 2022-2030, which is an integral part of our high-quality, high-impact, internationally and nationally attractive research and innovation environment.

Measures and development

We have made Häme University of Applied Sciences’ research infrastructure policy part of the university’s strategic goals. We regularly evaluate the infrastructures and update them as necessary. Up-to-date information on research infrastructures will be available in the research.fi website. We will support the achievement of the objectives of the research infrastructures policy at research unit level in a long-term, systematic and accountable manner. Our research infrastructures will support the development of our research key ecosystems SmartBio, SmartBuilt and SmartEdu.

HAMK’s research strategy will be updated during the academic year 2023-24. In this context, we will update the current information on research infrastructures.
