The eVerkosto project develops the quality, efficiency and innovation of food industry engineering education in collaboration, ensuring that the actions meet the needs of the labor market in an adaptive approach.

During the project we will develop pedagogical practices for online education in food industry engineering, while also supporting students’ well-being and fostering collaboration among lecturers. This project strengthens collaboration among lecturers and enhances students’ well-being as part of a broader, goal-oriented effort aimed at supporting the overall development of food industry engineering education. Additionally, we will foster closer collaboration between universities of applied sciences and businesses within the local area.

Project goals

Goal 1: Digital Learning

The eVerkosto project develops digital learning and infrastructure, enhancing the use of laboratory and testing environments in the learning process as well as the use of digital learning platforms.

Goal 2: Increasing Skilled Professionals in the Food Industry

The goal is to enhance the number of skilled professionals in the food industry by ensuring that education produces sufficient engineers to meet industry needs.

Goal 3: Expanding the Educational programs

Throughout the project, the educational offerings will be expanded by developing specialized training pathways and modules tailored to the needs of different industries, including grain, bakery, meat, beverage and dairy industries.

Goal 4: International Collaboration

Aiming to provide students with international experiences, the project offers them opportunities to work in a global environment.
