AgrBIZZ capacitates HEIs in student-centered learning, in network-based learning ecosystem building and practices of climate-smart agropreneurship. The project undertakes PBL- and climate-smart agropreneurship trainings and the methodology is piloted and contextualized through students online and field works.
The AgrBIZZ project aims to support national development by enhancing social development and increasing the employability and entrepreneurial mindset of graduates.
AgrBIZZ focuses on modernizing higher education institutions (HEIs) to better meet societal and workforce needs. This includes updating curricula to be more relevant and responsive to work-life demands, improving teachers’ pedagogical skills, and integrating climate-smart agriculture (CSA) and entrepreneurship into the curricula.
The project will revise and create new climate-smart, competence-based agri-entrepreneurship curricula. It will also improve student-centered teaching methods by training faculty and staff in problem-based learning, CSA, and innovative entrepreneurship education. AgrBIZZ will establish a collaborative learning ecosystem with academia and industry partners, benefiting students through participatory learning methods. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen HEIs’ capacity to further develop curricula and teaching methods through national and international partnerships.
