HAMK library offers the resources you need for your studies and helps you access them. HAMK library services are available in all seven HAMK campuses and online. Get started

If you have a Finnish social security number, activate your virtual library card in the Tuudo app. The card can instantly be used to borrow printed material from the library.

If you do not have a Finnish social security number, fill out the library card application.

You can find HAMK campus libraries’ locations and contact details on online library HAMK Finna.

HAMK library collections

You can find all HAMK library collections in our online library HAMK Finna. Log in with your HAMK ID to access the electronic material (e-books, e-journals, databases.)

Detailed instructions for accessing e-materials are available on HAMK Finna.

As a HAMK library user, you can borrow printed materials from any campus library for free. You can also reserve books from any campus and choose where to pick them up. Printed books can be borrowed for 28 days at a time.

All campus libraries have magazines, which you can read in the library. Access e-magazines through HAMK Finna. Most of the e-mazagines can be accessed off-campus too.

Library self-service

As a HAMK student you will be able to use the library outside of the library opening hours. This is called library self-service.

The campus libraries of Evo, Forssa, Lepaa, Mustiala, Riihimäki and Valkeakoski are mostly on self-service: the library staff is present once a week. During weekdays, the library staff can help you inside the campus library through Libgo video advice device. You can check the service days in HAMK Finna.

Access library self-service with a key card. Remember to activate your student card to work as a key card. During the self-service hours you can stay and study at the library, borrow and return books using the self-check machine and pick up and borrow your reservations.

Help with information searching

As a part of your studies, you will get guidance to help you find reliable information for your studies. You can also always come to the library customer service desk for help or book a personal guidance session online through our Help in information searching webpage.
