Join the Sport Sponsorship Programme? HAMK provides targeted support for our student athletes
HAMK’s sports sponsorship focuses on the Student Sponsorship Programme. We support our chosen student athletes with an annual contract ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 euros, either directly or through their sports club.
You can now apply to become a part of Häme University of Applied Sciences’ (HAMK) Student Sponsorship Programme for the academic year 2023–2024! The application period is open from October 2nd to October 22nd, 2023, and you can apply using this form.
Applicants must be studying at HAMK. We emphasize the dedication of the students applying to be a part of the programme in their athletic pursuits. The content of each sponsorship agreement is negotiated with the sponsored athlete and may include aspects such as visibility on attire and in games/competitions, interviews and photo usage, event collaboration, and social media exposure.
HAMK is a part of the Tavastia Sports Academy
Häme University of Applied Sciences is committed to supporting its students in combining their athletic careers with higher education. In addition to the Student Sponsorship Programme, support for integrating studies and sports can be obtained from the Tavastia Sports Academy, to which HAMK belongs.
Athlete students join HAMK through regular admission procedures, and once admitted, they can apply for membership in the sports academy. Becoming part of the Tavastia Sports Academy requires involvement in a sports club in Hämeenlinna.
If an athlete student does not meet the criteria for the sports academy, various support services for combining sports and studies can still be offered.
