How to apply?
The direct application period is open from 1 October 2025 to 15 May 2026. Please note: the application may close early if enough students are accepted before the deadline. Check the admission criteria and get ready to study design in Finland!
Selection Process
Applicants are selected based on:
- A motivation assignment (pass/fail)
- Design assignments (scored between 0-100; minimum 60 points required)
- English language proficiency (see the requirements)
Submission Deadlines
Applicants will receive instructions by email regarding the submission of their motivation and design assignments. Deadlines for submission are as follows:
- Apply by 30 November 2025 → Tasks due 9–10 December 2025
- Apply by 31 January 2026 → Tasks due 10–11 February 2026
- Apply by 31 March 2026 → Tasks due 7–8 April 2026
- Apply by 15 May 2026 → Tasks due 19–20 May 2026
