About me

I work as a Leading Research Scientist at HAMK Edu Research Unit. I lead the LearnWell research area where we study learning, teaching and well-being and the links between them, especially in the higher education context. My work also includes research and development in higher education pedagogy in both national and international contexts. I also serve as editor of the journal Higher Education (Springer).

I am a Doctor of Education (2007) and an Adjunct Professor (Title of Docent) in University Pedagogy at the University of Helsinki (2015).
