AI tools available in four library e-resources
Have you noticed that artificial intelligence is also available in the library e-resources? AI tools help you find answers to your questions faster and, at best, they enhance learning. However, it is only artificial intelligence – make sure you check your facts.
Currently, there are four library e-resources that provide their own AI tools:
Cinahl, the health sciences article database, has AI Insights to help you evaluate the content of an article and its usefulness to your needs. AI Insights provides you with a brief summary of a full text article, highlighting the main points.
Ebook Central’ s Research Assistant creates summaries of the content of an e-book and its chapters, helps identify and explain the most important concepts, answers your questions and gives tips on how you should proceed.
Test Research Assistant in Ebook Central
Alvari in the Fnnish RT Tietoväylä helps you find information on RT Cards and RYL services. Alvari answers your questions and provides you with links to the sourced information.
Statistics database Statista uses Research AI to answer your questions. Research AI will also provide you with links to the sources it used in its response. It will also provide you with links to related content, as well as suggest follow-up questions to help you delve deeper into your topic.
