The Village Safety Project addresses the needs of both permanent and multi-locational village residents, develops innovations, and creates a model and educational materials for village safety.
The project encourages village communities to participate in safety work within their daily routines as well as in crisis situations in close cooperation with authorities and the third sector.
Target group
The primary target group comprises village communities and their residents, including multi-locational residents. The project’s beneficiaries include third-sector organizations and authorities.
Operating area
Tavastia Proper, from which three pilot village areas have been selected for the project.
