HAMK sponsorship

The focus of Häme University of Applied Sciences’ sports and cultural sponsorship is particularly on supporting HAMK students. Depending on the discretion, support may also be provided for other actions and activities that promote the well-being and equality of young adults.

The sponsored activity must be in line with HAMK’s values. HAMK’s strategic communication, together with the sports services planner, selects the sponsored targets. Contracts are primarily made on a yearly/event basis.

HAMK does not enter into new sponsorship agreements that

  • contain only visibility (e.g. on a sports arena or in a publication)
  • are linked to political or religious activities.

HAMK’s sports sponsorship

HAMK’s sports sponsorship focuses on the sponsored athlete program. We support selected HAMK students who are athletes with an annual contract typically ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 euros, either directly or through their club.

The partnership requires that the athlete is studying at HAMK. The content of the agreement will be agreed with each sponsored person and may include, for example, visibility in the outfit and at games/events, use of interviews and photos, event cooperation and media coverage.

It is also possible to extend sponsorship to the cultural sector.

Cooperation with sports clubs and teams

We build cooperation with sports clubs primarily through various activities, such as student projects. Agile, low-threshold development is done, for example, in Diili tasks. If you are looking for more long-term cooperation, you can ask about the possibility of getting involved in cSchool projects. You can also offer internships and thesis work to our students. This can be done through the HAMK Talents service.
