The job application process and building networks in today’s world is multi-channel and requires long-term commitment. Start your job search early and take advantage of the various national and international channels and services available. It’s beneficial to begin building your professional profile and networks already during your studies. We recommend creating a LinkedIn profile, which allows you to easily start networking with classmates, teachers, and project company contacts.
At HAMK, we use the recruitment platform Tiitus. Each degree programme has its own Viva Engage channel for internal communication, where individual job opportunities are also posted.
Tiitus operates through user profiles and can be accessed via mobile or browser. You can search for jobs and work placements, and the platform’s AI also suggests suitable positions based on your profile. Through your profile, you are more easily discoverable by companies, and you can explore companies listed on the platform and send open applications to those that interest you.
